These include financial risks and opportunities scrutinized by investors, geopolitical disruptions driving the energy transition, and the challenge of integrating advanced decarbonization technologies while securing investment for new solutions.

Kevin O’Neill, Leader of Sustainability, Stewardship, Supply Chain, and ESG Solutions at Benchmark Gensuite, showcased how digital technologies can be adopted to operationalize the net-zero journey. This includes establishing a baseline of GHG emissions, setting targets at the enterprise and site levels, identifying and evaluating potential emission reduction projects with estimated costs and benefits potential, and seamlessly tracking, disclosing, and communicating progress – offering a clear roadmap for Net Zero target execution.
