These enhancements are designed to meet the evolving needs of our subscriber community and to provide a more user-friendly experience. Here’s what’s new and what you can look forward to in the coming months. 

Enhancements Released in April 2024 

1.  Optimizing Contractor Management Activities 

To simplify and streamline key contractor management activities, we’ve introduced several enhancements, including a revamped Contractor Management homepage to effectively highlight important contractor records. Color-coded safety indicators for contractor firms are now included for quick and easy reference, improving navigation and usability. A new ‘Batch Upload/Import’ feature just released to ease the addition of multiple contractor firms simultaneously. 

With the new Contractor Pre-qualification Audit Trail, users can track all changes made to a contractor firm’s pre-qualification record. Users can now add multiple Certificate(s) of Insurance within the pre-qualification record tab so you can easily check that all appropriate insurance coverage is in place to meet a project’s specific needs. Confirm all necessary documentation is accessible and up-to-date. 

2. Contractor Engagement & Performance Improvement 

Our Contractor Portal now enables contractor firm representatives to access and complete pre-qualification surveys directly through the Benchmark Gensuite Contractor portal.  Contractor firms now receive automated reminders and past-due emails for their pre-qualification surveys to ensure timely compliance. The Contractor Portal has been upgraded to include tabs for Firm Info, Prequalification records, and Projects so that firm representatives have all information readily available and can take action on all assigned items. 

3. Gen AI-Powered Contractor Firm Summaries 

Our innovative Generative AI capability now enables users to generate comprehensive summaries of contractor firms quickly to gain visibility into a contractor’s safety performance, track their progress in the pre-qualification process, and review active projects all in one place. These summaries can include details such as pre-qualification status, risk classifications, and project counts, all accessible without the need to switch between different tabs.

4. Contractor LMS App for Training Compliance: Successful contractor safety management starts right at the beginning with the onboarding and training process. Schedule, deliver, and track contractor training with our new dedicated Learning Management System (LMS) app.
