Each year, the Benchmark Gensuite IMPACT Conference brings together EHS, Sustainability, Quality, and Operational Risk leaders from around the world to exchange ideas, discuss emerging challenges, and explore technologies shaping the future of their work. IMPACT 2026 marked the largest gathering in the conference’s history, welcoming more than 400 attendees from 134 subscriber organizations.
Throughout the three-day event, attendees explored how AI is changing daily work, shared implementation experiences, and discussed operational priorities shaping the year ahead. That exchange has long been part of what makes IMPACT unique: collaborative innovation.
IMPACT gives subscribers an opportunity to learn from one another while giving Benchmark Gensuite’s product teams direct insight into the challenges organizations are working to solve. Those conversations continue long after the conference ends, influencing product roadmaps, new AI capabilities, and the next generation of the platform.
IMPACT 2026: A Community That Continues to Grow
Growth is measured by more than attendance. Behind every new subscriber, every returning attendee, and every full conference room are relationships that have been built over years of collaboration. The more than 400 attendees who joined IMPACT 2026 reflect a network that has grown through long-standing partnerships, shared knowledge, and a commitment to helping one another succeed.
During her Opening Remarks, Natasha Porter, Chief Customer Officer at Benchmark Gensuite, encouraged attendees to make the most of the expertise gathered in the room. After noting that more than half of the audience was attending IMPACT for the first time, she urged newcomers to connect with long-time subscribers, exchange ideas, and learn how other organizations are using Benchmark Gensuite.
“I really encourage you to meet as many people as you can. They could be from similar industries, or different industries, and talk to them about how you all are using Benchmark Gensuite.”
As EHS, Sustainability, and Operational Risk programs continue to evolve, opportunities to learn directly from peers have become increasingly valuable. Organizations may be at different stages of maturity, but many are navigating the same questions. Bringing those perspectives together gives attendees something that can’t be replicated in a product demonstration: practical insights from practitioners who have already tackled similar challenges.
A Platform Built With Practitioners at Its Core
For nearly three decades, Benchmark Gensuite has approached product development as an ongoing collaboration with the practitioners who use the platform every day. Reflecting on that history, CEO R. Mukund reminded attendees that many of the relationships in the room span decades.
“Many of you have been on that journey with me and us for three decades,” he said. “It has been a privilege to be part of this community.”
This philosophy shapes the way Benchmark Gensuite thinks about innovation. In his keynote, Mukund returned to a consistent message: technology is valuable because it helps practitioners solve real operational challenges.
“At heart, our passion lies with what you all do,” explained Benchmark Gensuite’s CEO. “Technology has enabled us to accomplish the vision and purpose that we set for ourselves in ways that we never even thought was possible.”
Whether the discussion focused on operational safety, sustainability reporting, compliance, or AI, every new capability was presented in the context of helping practitioners solve real operational challenges—from reducing repetitive work to improving visibility and supporting better decisions.
As new technologies continue to emerge, Benchmark Gensuite views AI as another opportunity to advance that mission. AI became the clearest expression of that vision.
Rather than presenting Genny AI as a standalone innovation, R. Mukund described it as another way of extending practitioners’ expertise across increasingly complex operations. Integrated across the Benchmark Gensuite platform, its purpose remains aligned with the company’s original mission: enabling “the EHS function… to be more successful and impactful.”

How Feedback Shapes What’s Next for Benchmark Gensuite
By the end of the conference, the partnership between Benchmark Gensuite and its subscribers had become tangible. During Wednesday’s Closing Report-Out Session, presenters returned to the main stage to share the key themes from each breakout discussion and the progress made on ideas that originated from subscriber feedback.
For many attendees, that connection was explicit. While summarizing the Frontline Operations roadmap, Jake Landgraf reminded the audience:
“We heard your feedback from last year at IMPACT. We’ve made a lot of great headway with integrating the Frontline Operations module into more of our core EHS tools.”
The same pattern appeared across the roadmap presentations. Self-configuration capabilities, AI-powered permit reviews, new sustainability features, and contractor management enhancements all reflected ideas that had evolved through subscriber feedback and real-world operational needs.
Among the clearest examples of that evolution was how AI is being natively integrated across the Benchmark Gensuite platform. Rather than introducing AI as a standalone capability, presenters demonstrated how intelligence is embedded into everyday workflows to surface relevant context, automate repetitive tasks, and support more informed decisions.
From the AI-native platform and embedded Genny AI experiences to specialized AI Agents and solutions like Permit Agent, each capability addresses a different challenge shared by subscribers. Together, they reduce repetitive work, surface relevant insights, and help experienced professionals make faster, more informed decisions while extending their expertise across larger teams and increasingly complex operations.
Collectively, these enhancements illustrate how the platform continues to evolve alongside its subscribers, with ideas shared during implementation projects, support conversations, and previous IMPACT conferences returning as new capabilities the following year.
Looking Beyond IMPACT 2026
Over three days, attendees explored new AI capabilities, discussed emerging regulatory challenges, and shared practical strategies for strengthening EHS, Sustainability, and Operational Risk programs. More importantly, they contributed to the conversations that will continue shaping the Benchmark Gensuite platform long after the conference ends.
The feedback shared after the conference echoed the same sentiment. Many described IMPACT as more than a software conference, highlighting the openness of the community, the willingness of subscribers to share their experiences, and the opportunity to learn from peers facing many of the same challenges. Others pointed to something equally meaningful: the confidence that their ideas are heard and can help influence what comes next.
People come to IMPACT looking for practical solutions and new ideas. They leave with something that’s much harder to build than software: a community committed to learning from one another and advancing the future of EHS, Sustainability, Quality, and Operational Risk together.
One attendee said it best: “You sign up for EHS software. You find a community along the way.”
As Benchmark Gensuite continues to evolve, that partnership will remain at the center of every new capability, every conversation, and every IMPACT conference still to come.
