CEO & Founder R Mukund and Naveen GV, Corporate Officer & Managing Director, AAPAC led the event with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, hosting user champions from key India subscribers that included leaders from ReNew Power, Dr. Reddyโs, GE, and ITC, and joined by over 100 of Benchmarkโs India team members.
Designed around the theme of collaboration, the new Benchmark office features a touchless entry, green spaces, colorful pods for collaboration, air-conditioning with virus-neutralizers, energy-efficient LED lighting, standing & cycling work desks, a wellness room, and ethically sourced interiors, among other green building features. ย Our new โgreen & cleanโ workspace in Bengaluru is designed in alignment with Benchmarkโs ethos and commitment to digitally empower organizations in managing safe and sustainable operations worldwide.
The event was marked by the commercial India/APAC launch of the new Benchmark ESG Directorโข digital platform with a view to address the pressure on organizations in the region to report investment-grade ESG metrics and equip them with the right digital tools to seamlessly meet their ESG disclosure obligations, including the recently mandated Business Responsibility & Sustainability Reporting (BRSR) requirement by Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI), drive ESG performance, and sustain improvements in the long-run. From sharing regional initiatives across several program areas including Permit to Work, Incident Management, Auditing, ISO implementation dashboards and integrating Artificial Intelligence across the platform to planning the 2022 roadmap, the event set the stage for a year of pursuing growth and collaboration in the APAC region. Customers and team members ended the evening with a tour of Benchmark ESGโs successful digital implementation at ITC Windsor (next door to our new office!), an iconic luxury collection hotel in Bengaluru, a flagship hotel of the ITC Group.
